SALLY PALFREEMAN – Chair

Sally is an established employer branding and marketing specialist, with a vast number of years and knowledge of the graduate life cycle. Currently working at British American Tobacco in Singapore, developing and defining the Talent Brand for both experienced hire and graduate hiring for Australasia and Singapore. Staring out in London and working at a variety of advertising agencies along with some time in regional and trade media, then moving to Singapore 6 years ago. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and making the most of seeing as much of the region as possible. Running is a recent passion.

Alvin Lim – Treasurer

Alvin is passionate about data analytics, tech and people. 

In his current role at Maximum, Alvin works closely with Fortune 500 senior leaders from HR (L&OD, Talent Management), Recruitment, Strategic Communications, Marketing and other business units on EVP strategy, research and digital transformation work, that addresses recruitment pain points and ultimately delivers a quality candidate experience.

A true T-shaped consulting professional, Alvin's diverse experiences include business process improvement, financial reporting & analysis, and he has led various teams to implement full-stack ERP and CRM tech.

Prior to relocating to Singapore, Alvin was based in Sydney and Melbourne where he worked as a management accountant and business analyst, and founded a Sydney-based e-commerce startup.

In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, playing the bass guitar, road cycling, reading and photography. He also loves tinkering with all things tech from bicycles to computers.

Gemma Hudson – Membership and Content

Gemma is a passionate early talent professional and has over ten years experience in Human Resources and graduate talent in Australia, most recently leading the graduate attraction and selection team at Deloitte.

Having relocated to Singapore in 2017, Gemma has been appointed to lead early talent programs for SAP in the APJ region as part of SAP’s global early talent team.

Gemma has previously held the position of Director for the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE) and regularly creates content for early talent professionals, shared via LinkedIn.

Outside of work, Gemma spends her time with her young children, drinking coffee (a true Melburnian at heart!) and is beginning to explore incredible destinations across South East Asia.

ISABELLA CROCKER – Committee Member

Isabella currently leads Expedia's Global Early Talent function, across Asia Pacific, and is responsible for building and shaping Expedia Group's early careers presence both in the region, and globally. Isabella is a 'true-blooded' graduate recruitment professional with over 16 years of international graduate recruitment experience in Europe, Middle East & Africa and Asia Pacific, working across multiple sectors.

Being part of the world's largest online travel platform has its perks, and when not travelling on-the-job, Isabella enjoys exploring new and exciting locations, experiencing the many diverse and colourful cultures across Asia.

To remain sane and calm during the graduate recruitment cycles, Isabella volunteers as a Conservation Docent at the Singapore Zoo. She also nurtures a healthy obsession for elephants and animal conservation, and looks forward to her next volunteering holiday with these intelligent and gentle giants!

ANNA FOURIE – Vice-Chair

As the APAC University Staffing Consultant for Microsoft, Anna leads Microsoft’s graduate hiring and intern programmes across Asia Pacific. Prior to her relocation to Singapore, she gained her experience in the UK and Australia within recruitment (graduate), outplacement, coaching and training. Her free time is dedicated to her family and pursuing their shared passion of sailing and travelling, experiencing new countries and cultures.

Sufiartie Sudyono – Events

Sufie is constantly on the lookout for high potential young talents in Southeast Asia as a recruiter for the APAC University Staffing Consultant in Microsoft. With a focus on university relations, she is responsible for planning out the engagement strategies with universities and student organisations in the region. Her passion for youth development, community work and travelling has encouraged Sufie to trot across most of Europe and Asia in pursuit of travelling opportunities for a cause. She also enjoys hiking, mountain climbing and being close to nature.

Katy Montgomery – Schools Liaison and Content

Katy joined INSEAD in February 2017 as the Global Director of the Career Development Centre. Katy leads a team of professionals across three campuses (Fontainebleau, Singapore, and Abu Dhabi) responsible for career coaching, employer engagement, and day-to-day career-related operations. She is overseeing the design and roll-out of a new MBA careers curriculum and serves as a member of INSEAD’s senior management team and degree program leadership team, contributing to cross-school initiatives.

Before joining INSEAD, Katy served as the Associate Dean of Student Development at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School in Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC. Outside of work, hosting and entertaining (as any good Southerner would!), letter writing, and of course, travel.


Emma Lang – Committee Member

Emma is an Employer Brand and Marketing Specialist with 10 years' experience on both the agency and client side in Singapore, and the UK. Currently responsible for the Employer Brand strategy and execution across the APAC region for Deutsche Bank - her skills lie in identifying and developing a compelling employer value proposition and then engaging talent through targeted communications. She is passionate about driving forward and executing employer brand campaigns whilst developing effective and innovative talent attraction strategies, providing the best candidate application experience and proven ROI.
